Tawanda Girls

Tawanda Girls

Tawanda Girls symbolize freedom of spirit and personal empowerment. If you saw the movie, “Fried Green Tomatoes”, you will remember that Kathy Bates’ character struggled to claim her own power as a woman. Each time she succeeded, she raised her arms and shouted, Tawanda!! And so, the girls came into being.
Each unique piece is created from fabric, stoneware clay, and beads. The faces are removable pins, so you can even wear your power! The Tawanda Girls are being discontinued and will be on sale until the inventory is depleted.
